Vallehermoso - Agulo - Hermigua - San Sebastián - Playa Santiago/Alajeró - Valle Gran Rey
The population of La Gomera (about 18,000 inhabitants) is spread through many towns and villages of unequal size, among which the municipal seats stand out for their larger number of dwellers and the greater density of their housing.
The valleys of Hermigua, Agulo, Vallehermoso, Valle Gran Rey, Santiago and San Sebastián account for more than 80% oof the island's inhabitants.
Outside of these areas, determined by the insular network of roads, settlements are scarce and have been diminishing greatly in the last fifteen years.
